New Car; 2010 Zenvo ST1

It’s got more power than a Bugatti Veyron and even more exclusivity. This is the Zenvo ST1, Denmark’s first ever home-built supercar, and these are the best pictures yet of how the newcomer will look.

The Zenvo’s 7.0-litre V8 is both supercharged and turbocharged, a first for a supercar, and the result is a power output of 1,104bhp compared to the Bugatti’s 1001bhp. The amount of torque is equally impressive peaking at 1430Nm, 180Nm more than the Veyron.

The ST1 also uses a Bio Flex engine, which means it can run on both unleaded or Bio fuel or even both combined. Mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, specially designed to handle the extreme levels of power, the Danish supercar also gets hydraulic limited-slip differential to maximise power delivery.

Although official figures are yet to be confirmed, the Zenvo’s 0-62mph time will be well under three seconds and expect a top speed in excess of 200mph.

Prices are still to be announced but the Danish company has confirmed only 15 units are currently scheduled to be produced and this means it certainly won’t be cheap. For more details click here.
