Ferrari 458 Challenge racing version has been launched


Italian car manufacturer, Ferrari, Thursday (2 / 12) launched a Ferrari 458 Challenge race cars on carpet Bologna Motor Show 2010 which took place December 2 to 12. The manufacturer claims that vehicles powered by 4499 cc engine with 570 horsepower power was still not a match there. The car version of the concept is introduced to the public in July and then claimed to have a blast despite a large torque at low rpm. It was thanks to a double clutch gearbox refinement version F1 car uses.



In accordance with its position as car racing, 458 Challenge is the latest generation of devices equipped with traction control road version of F1, F1 Tract. The device control system is claimed to be the best in its class. The system continuously monitors assigned each level of grip at high speed. How it works it refers to the same devices used by Ferrari car which has been used in F1 and GT racing championship.

Another attraction of the Ferrari 458 Challenge is a unique suspension system. The device was similar to the spring but the hard and combined with Shockbreaker single rate. Perfection suspension system complete with the use of rim size 19-inch center who combined tub nut-slick tread width Pirelli brand.


About speed, Ferrari said, the results of tests conducted by the examiners noted that the manufacturer's latest Challenge 458 capable of racing in one lap circuit in just 1 minute 16.5 seconds. This speed is claimed to be far better than the previous generation. However, Ferrari did not mention how much speed that older generation.

Ferrari also guarantee the safety aspects of using the device that actually qualified. Eg braking devices, the company uses the latest Brembo brakes CCM2. Brake was first used Ferrari cars 599XX experiment.
